Vanilla BBQ’d Lamb
Paired with St. Francis 99 Cabernet Franc

The St.Francis 99 Cabernet Franc is a perfect match for this flavorful dish, which is terrific for Easter or Christmas.

8 ounces extra-virgin olive oil    
4 ounces Spanish oregano    
2 tablespoons vanilla extract    
4 garlic cloves, minced    
1 whole lamb leg    

Combine oil, oregano, vanilla, and garlic.

Place lamb leg in a large baking dish and rub all over with oil mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for 72 hours, massaging the meat once a day.

Cook over an open flame using olive branches and hard wood mesquite.

Serve with St. Francis 99 Cabernet Franc.
