Wild Goat Wontons

My husband and I love to entertain, but our favorite “guests” are ourselves! We
host our own cocktail party for two every weekend. Our favorite pairing is Wild Goat Wontons, filled with goat cheese,
sun-dried tomatoes, and andouille sausage, served with St. Francis 2003 Syrah. Spicy, dark, sultry St. Francis 2003
Syrah has the perfect balance to coax out the creaminess of the goat cheese and stand up to the sausage.

| Wonton wrappers |

|
| Andouille sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces |
|
|
| Sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, cut into bite-sized pieces |
|
|
| Goat cheese |
|
|
| Egg, beaten and mixed with a bit of milk to make an egg wash |
|
|
| Canola oil for frying |
|
|
|
Fill the wonton wrappers with sausage, sun-dried tomatoes, and goat cheese. Seal with egg
wash. Lightly fry until golden brown.
